The Story
Some say that it doesn't matter what you've done in the past; that it's about
what you can do NOW, in the moment, that matters most. That has some truth to
it. But we at BLAST! management also feel that to make a decision about the
NOW, you have to look at one's past history and previous work - and our
previous work is something we are very proud of!

History
BLAST! is a vast creative musical resource founded by Aaron D. Jacoves,
formerly V/P, A&R for A&M Records, Virgin Records and Mercury Records, where
he signed or discovered such bands as: SOUNDGARDEN, THE BLACK CROWES, JOHN HIATT, TONI CHILDS, DAVID & DAVID, EXTREME, HOODOO GURUS, ALISON MOORE (nominated for an Oscar for Original Song-Horse Whisper) and many others, aswell as several grammy award winning songwriters. As an executive at A&M he oversaw the soundtrack production of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures, and worked with industry guru, David Anderle on several notable soundtracks
including, Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, and Ferris Buller's Day Off.
Independently, he worked on such films as This Girl's Life, Suicide Kings, and
the Robert Altman TV series, GUN (ABC).
Going independent, Aaron oversaw the signing of a few new artists to various
labels and manages several top urban and rock mixers and producers. BLAST!
management has also been involved in the music production of several major
international commercials and has contributed songs and scores to many films
and tv shows.
