• Tours and Records with Beach Boy legend, Brian Wilson, singing and playing keys, vibes, guitar and percussion. Won a Grammy last year for his work on the “Smile” album.
• Played bass on Flaming Lips “The Soft Bulletin” album.
• Sang and played drums, bass, guitar and keyboards on Liz Phair’s “Whitechocolatespaceegg” album.
• Session singer, player, writer, producer on award winning spots for McDonald’s, Disney, Bud, Miller, Subway, 7-Up, Gatorade, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, Noxema, Kraft, Pontiac, Ford, etc.
• Scored “Karen Sisco” for ABC, “Zoey 101” and “Drake and Josh” for Nick Jr., four award winning independent short films, and has placed dozens of songs on TV shows, including a song that became JT and Colleen’s theme song on “The Young and the Restless”.
• Played guitar and keys for Pulitzer and Tony award winning “Rent”.
• The Chicago Tribune called his last band, “The Falling Wallendas”
debut, “Breathtaking…3 1/2 out of 4 stars.”
• at 18 years old, won a nationally-televised battle of the bands hosted by Sammy Davis Jr.
Scott has performed with, among others, Elton John, Billy Joel, David Crosby, Vince Gill, and Paul Simon, who invited Brian and his band to share a summer tour. Both legends praised Scott’s CD, and Brian calls him “…the most talented musician I’ve ever met.” Recently, Scott performed with Brian Wilson at the Queen’s Golden Jubilee at Buckingham Palace, with Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, Queen and Paul McCartney, who then asked the Brian Wilson band ( who he called the best band on the road ) to join him at the Adopt A Landmine event. A week later, he was onstage at Madison Square Garden w/ Sting, James Taylor, Don Henley, Roger Waters, John Mellancamp and Sheryl Crow.
Scott has written over 300 songs and is constantly collaborating with, and producing other artists, most recently Drake Bell from the Drake and Josh show. After writing with members of Filter and SmashingPumpkins, he is currently working up material with a new group, tentatively called, “Namedroppers”.
