For three weeks in a row MEET THE FOCKERS has been the #1 box office hit of the season. Scene after scene, Bruno Coon’s (composer/songwriter/music editor) his unique musical styling can be heard. Bruno worked along side Randy Newman to help create some of the film’s most memorable music, as well as appearing in two scenes performing original songs with his band.

BIO INFO:
Bruno Coon’s first composing job was as an “apprentice,” working along side composer Jay Gruska for 4 years, adding musical scores on the “Lois and Clark, the New Adventures of Superman,” series. This led to, what Bruno has called, “an experience of a lifetime,” as he began a vast musical journey working with the legendary Randy Newman.
Bruno’s creative relationship with Mr. Newman includes producing several soundtrack albums, editing many of Mr. Newman’s scores, as well as creating score pieces for many films.
To date, Bruno has contributed music to such films as, “Seabiscuit”, “Monsters, Inc.”,Pleasantville”, “ToyStory 2”, “A Bug’s Life”, and “Austin Powers in Goldmember.”
Bruno recently scored the music for the independently produced “Learning Curves” has just been purchased by Showtime.
He has a special interest in and understanding of world music so his music is modern and eclectic in it’s influences and reliant on the organic interaction of performers, whether it’s a small guitar based sound or full orchestra.
